2 new teams (Pune and Kochi) will play in IPL 2011. 10 teams will play 94 matches over 2 months in IPL 2011. Maharashtra is the only state that owns 2 IPL teams. Gujarat is the only major state in entire south and Western India without their own IPL team.

    I am a proud puneite and very happy that we will have pune team in ipl 2011 which we can support and i am confident that team will definitely do well in ipl 2011. All the best to Sahara group and Pune IPL team.
