Would like to see Chennai Super Kings n Kolkata Knight Riders in the final of IPL. and Finally Chennai Super King losing the cup to Kolkata Knight Riders.. yes... Knight Riders will surely win.
Yes chennai super kings will definitely win the IPL - but if parthiv patel plays no further part. Why would anyone pick up parthiv for 1.3 crores - more than Ntini, an ace bowler or almost the same price as Hussey!! Who exactly chooses these guys and based on what for the auction! I'm sure there are better wicket keepers and definitely much better batsmen, and fielders than this guy. Does the super kings owner beleive in charity, is parthiv related to Lalit Modi, or did they all lose their mind on the day of this auction!! Why parthiv - he is the most overrated player to have entered the national team without even entering the Ranji scene. In fact the indian team of that time almost won the series down under if it were not for the goof ups of this young lad. Cricket and cricket alone should be the talking point in any selection and especially in this International, and popular T20 league. if he is the second choice keeper in the team - then he should be in the playing eleven only if dhoni is out. If super kings lost to delhi daredevils - its bcos parthiv opened the innings and tried going for expansive pull shots and what not - but never got the score moving. Why would anyone send parthiv bfore a morkel? Why would anyone send morkel with only 5 overs to spare ? Or is it a well planned strategy of levelling the teams - so that the others can catch up with chennai super kings!!! Someone please explain
Also someone please tell me why does anyone want to see let alone auction the likes of Rahul Dravid, Parthiv Patel, VVS Lakshman and Venugopala Rao - the likes of whom will never enter even a 50over format team of any decent merit based selection at international level. Please get the correct players for the correct format. Why should 'names' be more important than current form and talent for a particular format?
We have lot of good players from chennai like badrinath,vidyut,anirudh srikanth & others.Why give chance to other state players to play for chennai at the expense of chennai players.parthiv patel has not done too well.He should be relpaced with someone like anirudh srikanth.And also joginder sharma is waste.His bowling is not extra ordinary.He should also be replaced immediately.
